 As a blogger, I am always looking at fellow bloggers and stylist for inspiration.  I came across Nadia a year ago and have been following her blog ever since.  Nadia, a British South Asian, embodies the perfect balance of vintage, French chic, street style & 100% simple. In 1997, Amy moved to Hong Kong with her husband. It was there that she decided to pursue her dream of starting her own fashion label. “I’m crazy for prints and color in unexpected combinations. Amy’s passion for chic and easy fashions became the foundation on which Tibi was launched. SO i was looking through my April Elle issue and thought to myself "why not do a post on ad campaigns". WE all LOVE fashion magazines for these glossy ads.  I, for one, am a sucker for pictures, colors, The Glamour: big blow dryed hair & Super High Heels.  These some of my "FAV" designers and their ads from the past years.  Enjoy!!

The Emperor 1688

Spring/Summer 2011

The Emperor 1688- was founded by the Golkar Brothers (Babak & twins Farhan and Haman) in 2007. Of British/Iranian decent the boys believe in day wear to beachwear and from the office to evening garb, the shirt remains reliable, and this is what they have tapped into. Their stance: "We're shirt kind of guys, the shirt is classic and timeless." My favorite is no.6!!! I ventured upon their site by mistake a few months back and have been keeping a close watch on the "Brothers".  Their style and collection immediately reminded me of old Hollywood glamor embodied by the likes of Mr. Gable and Rock Hudson.  Yet it resonates with the Scott Disick and Chuck Bass of our generation.  Check them out HERE
