I had the pleasure of a brief conversation with Nida recently. I was ECSTATIC. Not only do we share the same name, I get her vision! To me her pieces have their own character: Vintage, Androgynous with Pop. My fondest memories of the old country are the hustle and bustle of the bazaars, the corner chai wallahs, the samosas on wheels, and the fabric shops with yards upon yards of fabric folded neatly and placed in selves along the 4 walls of the shop. Nida's collections, somehow, is a reflection of that day-to-day life. To me her collection is for a woman of substance, who's personality is an Equal to the piece she wears.
